VetMyVin provides informational vehicle reports built from public government data (NHTSA) and licensed commercial data providers (including NMVTIS-approved history providers). Reports, scores, verdicts, fair-trade windows, and known-issue notes are informational estimates and opinions, not appraisals, inspections, valuations, or offers to purchase. Recall information is model-level campaign data; whether a campaign applies to a specific vehicle and was completed must be verified by VIN with a dealer or the manufacturer.
Vehicle history databases are incomplete by nature: not all accidents, damage, or odometer events are reported to any database. A clean report does not guarantee a clean vehicle. Always get an independent pre-purchase inspection. VetMyVin is not a substitute for professional, legal, or financial advice, and we are not liable for purchase or sale decisions made using the service.
Report packs are one-time purchases processed by Stripe. A report credit is consumed when a full report is generated. If our data provider fails during generation, your credit is automatically returned. If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact support@vetmyvin.com — we refund honest mistakes.
The free tier is rate-limited per user. Automated scraping, bulk querying, or reselling report output is not permitted.
